This garment was made in response to my exploration of quilting and its affect on my practice. I opted to bring in paper folding, instead of fabric quilting, to experiment with different sound and structures that would form on the garment itself. The pinwheel shape, common in American Folk quilts, was repeated 250+ times, and hand applied each pinwheel. The sounds of paper clacking is almost like a crisp, dried leaf about to be stepped on.
